Engineered Industrial Racking Systems & Scalable Smart Warehouse Solutions for Global Supply Chains

Leading the Evolution of Industrial Racking Infrastructure

Combining advanced design metallurgy with high-velocity export capability to empower globally integrated logistics networks.

Established in 2015, Shenzhen Shibang Storage Rack Co., Ltd. has established itself as an authoritative voice in the design, engineering, and mass production of premium structural industrial racking systems and custom-engineered warehouse solutions. Operating from our state-of-the-art 32,000 square meter facility, our enterprise integrates deep materials science expertise, high-precision automated manufacturing, and complex global logistics configurations to serve high-volume storage needs across international markets.

Our market position is built upon a dual foundation: 12 years of core industry expertise in engineering heavy-duty storage structures and 8 years of verified export operations. We generate more than $18 million in annual export revenues, sending premium structures to critical distribution networks in North America, Europe, Australia, and Southeast Asia. Rather than acting as a simple vendor, we collaborate as a strategic partner to third-party logistics (3PL) providers, global e-commerce distribution networks, industrial rack distributors, and massive manufacturing facilities requiring customized structural capacity.

Global Industry Trends: The Shift Towards Intelligent Storage

Modern distribution hubs demand flexible, scalable, and dynamic structural configurations to maximize spatial efficiency.

Cube Optimization & AGV Compatibility

Rising land costs are pushing facilities to utilize vertical volume. Modern custom racks are designed to integrate seamlessly with Autonomous Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS).

Seismic and Load Compliance

Structural validation using finite element analysis (FEA) is now mandatory globally. Custom racks must conform to rigorous seismic zone certifications and structural safety parameters (RMI, FEM, and AS4084).

Environmental & Hybrid Surface Finishes

Industrial applications now require anti-corrosive, non-toxic, and low-VOC powder coatings or advanced hot-dip galvanized coatings to withstand high-humidity and sub-zero cold chain environments.

Rigorous R&D and Heavy-Duty Quality Assurance

Behind every structural component lies deep materials research, precise load-deflection metrics, and exhaustive quality checks.

At Shenzhen Shibang, quality and technological leadership guide our manufacturing processes. Our engineering capability is led by 18 senior structural and R&D engineers, supported by 35 dedicated QC inspectors. This technical core manages a strict materials evaluation regime, ensuring that all cold-rolled structural steel profiles conform strictly to international performance thresholds. Our testing infrastructure includes:

Raw Material Tensile Strength

Verification of yield and ultimate tensile strength of steel coils, ensuring safety tolerances and elastic limit calculations (minimum yield strength Q235B and Q345B steel standards).

Ultrasonic Weld Analysis

Nondestructive testing (NDT) of load-bearing connectors and baseplates to verify deep penetration and eliminate micro-fissures or structural void hazards.

Static & Dynamic Stress Validation

Simulating structural load performance with safety factors up to 1.5 to 2.0, verifying rack deflection limits under maximum designated capacity.

Salt Spray Anti-Corrosion Tests

Exposing finished powder-coated components to salt spray test protocols to guarantee long-term surface integrity in demanding humid or chemical environments.

Innovation is key to our development: in the last year alone, our engineering division generated 45 new product designs and structural optimizations. These developments focus on reducing manufacturing costs while improving load limits and making installation easier, helping global distributors stay competitive.

China Factory 4.0: Supply Chain Resilience & Cost Leadership

Our smart automation and reliable supply chain integration ensure price stability and consistent, high-volume production output.

The global industrial racking market requires high supply chain responsiveness. Large warehouse setups must meet tight construction and launch deadlines; any delay in rack installation directly impacts ROI. Operating from our advanced facility in Shenzhen, we utilize a robust network of over 800 supply chain partners. This ecosystem guarantees stable steel coil pricing, reliable accessory supplies, and steady access to premium raw materials even during market volatility.

Our factory floor features Industry 4.0 automation, incorporating robotic weld cells, continuous automated cold-roll forming systems, computerized CNC punching, and a modern electrostatic powder-coating line. This high level of automation reduces human error, speeds up production cycles, and ensures consistent quality across all components, from heavy-duty upright frames and box beams to wire mesh decking and row spacers.

Custom Configurations for Diverse Industrial Applications

We design custom configurations to match the specific operational requirements of different warehouse environments.

3PL & E-commerce Fulfillment

Designed for fast product turnaround, high SKU counts, and compatibility with barcodes and picking systems. Supports selective racking and multi-level mezzanine systems.

Technical & Industrial FAQ

Answers to common structural design, manufacturing standards, and export logistics questions.

1. How do you calculate rack load capacities and ensure safety margins?

Our engineering team designs racking systems according to the Rack Manufacturers Institute (RMI) specification and European standard FEM 10.2.02. We analyze load limits using finite element analysis (FEA) software. We base our configurations on static and dynamic loads, applying safety factors between 1.5 and 2.0 depending on the project. This prevents beam deflection from exceeding L/240 (deflection length divided by 240) and safeguards against structural buckle or failure.

2. What structural steel grades do you use for your uprights and beams?

We use premium hot-rolled and cold-rolled carbon steel coils, primarily grades Q235B and Q345B (comparable to ASTM A36 and ASTM A572 Grade 50). These materials offer excellent ductility, high yield strength, and reliable welding performance, ensuring structural stability under high loading pressures.

3. What is the difference between powder coating and hot-dip galvanizing for industrial racks?

Electrostatic powder coating provides a durable, impact-resistant surface finish ideal for standard indoor warehouses. For extreme environments, such as high-humidity locations, outdoor yards, or sub-zero cold-chain facilities, we recommend hot-dip galvanizing. In this process, the steel is submerged in molten zinc, creating a thick, metallurgically bonded zinc barrier that protects against rust and corrosion.

4. How does Shenzhen Shibang handle seismic design requirements for international markets?

We configure our rack dimensions and upright gauges based on localized seismic hazard data. For active seismic regions in the US, Europe, or Australia, we increase baseplate dimensions, use heavy-duty anchor bolts, configure thicker vertical columns, and design structural bracing systems that comply with AS4084, RMI, and IBC seismic parameters.

5. What customization options are available under your OEM/ODM service?

We provide full customization, including custom frame heights, depth dimensions, step-beam profiles, load capacities per level, custom paint colors (RAL match), customized packaging, and specific product branding. Additionally, we customize wire decking layouts, column protectors, and frame barrier designs.
